* Develop and implement procurement strategies. * Ensure cost effectiveness for mega project procurement of materials and goods. * Manage organizational sourcing capabilities. * Develop, maintain and administer vendor agreements and supplier contracts. * Negotiate supplier and vendor contracts to secure advantageous terms and deadlines. * Approving, organizing and confirming purchase orders and product deliveries. * Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements. * Control the procurement budget and promote long-term procurement cost savings. * Act as a point of contact between the company and suppliers. * Identify potential suppliers based on project requirements. * Manage an efficient flow of goods to ensure optimum production. * Work closely with the legal department to ensure contract terms are favourable to the company. المهارات * Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management with good background in Business/Finance. * Minimum of 10 years' progressive experience in a Procurement management role. Experience in a supervisory role is an asset. * Certified Professional Purchaser (C.P.P.) designation or registration in the educational program of the Purchasing Management Association and or equivalent certifications or experience. * Considerable knowledge of laws, ordinances, industry best practices and regulations pertaining to corporate purchasing practices. * Strong writing skills for creating reports, correspondence, contracts, requests, bids, and other documentation. * Knowledge of the appropriate tools for forecasting, grading, analyzing, and assessing materials, equipment, supplies, services, and other commodities. * Familiarity with supply chain management (SCM) software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, and/or material requirements planning (MRP) software.
