Job Description Key role Ensure that the contractors work is meeting quality and safety standards Summarized  Work closely with OHL, Cable & Civil contractors to verify and check the quality of work in the field and prepare observation report.  Issued defect reports to Contractors, witnessed their work on site to ensure compliance to specifications and take action to reject and or accept the works.  Reviews Contractors work plan, outage schedule and prepares annual preventive maintenance schedule  Prepares outage request through SAP and follow-up its approval  Conduct field investigations on the unauthorized use of ROW by third parties  Conduct study and recommends solutions to third parties requirements to ensure safety and security of the lines and cables  Review and validate volume of sand estimation and prepares work authorization issued to civil contractor  Implement civil works and conduct inspection after work completion to ensure that works are in compliance to the correct specifications.  Prepares scope of works for special projects such as line modifications  Participate in the tender process such as bid evaluation of technical and commercial proposal including bid analysis and recommendations for award  Responsible for providing safety field clearance to re-energize the line/cable.  Review accomplishment report submitted by the Contractor for billing  Troubleshoot & diagnose problems 2  Identify consequences of changes  Ensure documentation of errors and actions taken  Read and interpret design drawings  Carry out switching operations and circuit main earth connections  Carry out non electrical work in stations  Issue permits for work, sanctions for test, certificates of isolation and limitations of access  Receive sanction for test  Adherence to the code of conduct KPIs  Stability and security of the systems  Feasibility of the plans  Accuracy of the studies  Response Time  Failure Rate المهارات Job Requirements Educational Qualifications & Certifications  Bachelor of Science with a specialization in Electrical Engineering  Senior Authorized Person Experience Function specific experience  Transmission Lines and Cables Industry related experience  Power Transmission Years of experience  6-8 years of relevant experience Shared Competencies Professional Competencies  Problem Solving  Time Management  Planning and Organization Functional Competencies  Coordination - Getting Things Done  Maintaining Safe and Healthy Work Environment  Monitoring and Taking Corrective Action  Optimization of Equipment – Preventative Maintenance  Speed of Response - Ad Hoc Maintenance  Attention to Detail
