Installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems: An air conditioning technician is responsible for installing new air conditioning systems, as well as performing maintenance and repairs on existing systems. Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues: When a problem arises with an air conditioning system, the technician must be able to troubleshoot and diagnose the issue to determine the best course of action for repairs.
